Built by creators,
for creators
TagOpt was born from frustration with guessing which hashtags actually help discovery. We built the hashtag optimizer we wished existed.
Our mission
We believe great content deserves to perform—not get lost in algorithmic noise. TagOpt is a context-aware hashtag optimizer that helps creators, founders, and teams improve discovery without rewriting their voice.
We're building tools for people who think long-term: niche creators growing communities, founders building in public, teams that need repeatable organic reach.
TagOpt doesn't promise virality. It promises clearer tagging—hashtags that fit your post, platform, and goals.
What we stand for
Context over keywords
We don’t rewrite your caption—we read it as context, respect platform rules, and suggest hashtag sets you can trust. Context beats random trending lists.
Precision over volume
More hashtags don’t mean better results. We aim for the right mix for discovery on each platform, not keyword stuffing.
Explainability over black boxes
You deserve to know why each recommendation was made. We show our work—transparent scoring, clear reasoning, no black boxes.
Long-term over quick wins
We’re not chasing viral trends. We’re building tools for sustainable audience growth and repeatable organic reach. That takes time and intention.
How TagOpt started
Like most good tools, TagOpt was born from personal frustration. We were publishing content, trying to reach the right audience—and every tool on the market was either a bare tag generator or a scheduling app. Neither helped answer: which hashtags actually fit this post and platform?
Existing tools didn't understand what our posts were about, or how platform limits and objectives should change the mix. They dumped generic tags and called it a day.
So we built TagOpt: a context-aware hashtag optimizer that suggests hashtags with explanations and scores—so you publish with clearer intent, not guesswork.
We're still early. But we're building this with intentionality, listening to creators who think long-term, and iterating based on what actually works.
